§ 6-170. Building permit refusal and appeal.

  • The city manager or his designee (inspector), after having made an inspection of a move-in house or manufactured housing and having advised the owner of the requirements for move-in houses or manufactured housing, can refuse to issue a building permit if it is deemed that the move-in house or manufactured housing will be marginal in complying with the building codes.

    The owner of the move-in house or manufactured housing can appeal such decision of non-issuance of permit to the board of adjustment of the city, by making such application for appeal to the city secretary.
