§ 10-137. Identification of vehicles; exception.

  • Vehicles for hauling or transporting liquefied petroleum gas shall not be used or driven within the corporate limits of the city unless there is displayed on the sides and rear of the container tank the word butane or propane in letters having a minimum height of six (6) inches; except, that vehicles operating under license or jurisdiction of the Interstate Commerce Commission may be driven through the city without first securing a permit but such vehicle shall not distribute or discharge any gas within the city unless a permit has been obtained from the city manager.
