§ 20-109. Schedule of signs permitted.
The following is the schedule of signs permitted in the zones listed:
(1)
Permanent type signs are permitted as follows:

Permitted in NS, R, C, CA, I and PD districts —
d. Agricultural sign Permitted in A, R, C, CA, I and PD districts 100 sq. ft. 200 ft. between signs (2)
Temporary type signs are permitted as follows:
Type sign Zone permitted Maximum area Spacing standards a. Real estate sign All residential districts 8 sq. ft. One for each platted lot or tract and one for each 200 ft. of street or highway frontage for acreage. In all districts except residential No restriction None specified b. One per project or one for each 100 acres in project In single-family, two-family and multiple-family district subject to approval of building official as provided otherwise in this chapter (3)
In a PD. Planned development district, the sign standards shall be specified in the amending ordinance.

No sign shall be constructed to exceed the maximum building height permitted in the specific district where the sign is located except in shopping centers or similar commercial or office centers containing six (6) acres or more where pylon or major identification signs not to exceed seventy-five (75) feet in height may be erected when set back from the side and rear property line a distance equal to the height of the sign.
