Article IV. TOBACCO SMOKING REGULATIONS |
§ 11-47. Nonsmoking facilities.
In the event that the public area is one which is designated as no smoking, the owner, operator or person in charge shall:
(1)
Prominently display a reasonably sized notice that smoking is prohibited by law in such public place and that an offense is punishable by a fine of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) for the first offense, five hundred dollars ($500.00) for the second offense, and one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) for the third offense, plus court costs for each offense; and
(2)
Provide facilities for extinguishment of smoking materials.
