§ 10-111. Maximum size of containers.

  • Containers larger than one-thousand-water-gallons capacity shall not be erected, installed or used; provided, that this restriction shall not be applicable to those containers attached to and used on vehicles for transportation purposes; provided, further, that containers larger than one-thousand-water-gallons capacity may be authorized and installed only after the applicant has first obtained and presented to the city council a written approval of such installation by the chief engineer of the state fire insurance commission and by the director of the gas utilities division of the railroad commission.
